DartConnect's software platform provides a streamlined scoring system for both 01 and cricket, and collects an unprecedented quantity of statistics on every player simply by scoring games.  This also allows the elimination of paper match reports and a new "express entry" form for PDSL bracket reps to enter scores in a fraction of the current time required (see below).

PDSL "Express Entry" Match Reporting

PDSL brackets that use DartConnect will experience tremendous benefits by using the software, including:

• Streamlined scoring and no math errors.  Perfect for walk and chalk situations when you can't have a dedicated chalker.
• No filling out a paper match report, save time and eliminate human input errors.
• Entire match report is done automatically just by scoring the games.  Players simply forward the DartConnect Recap they get in their email to their bracket rep.
• Bracket reps may now use the new lightning fast "Express Entry" form specifically for matches scored with DartConnect (only 9 fields to fill out per match now instead of 100+):

If you are currently using or plan to use DartConnect in your PDSL bracket, send an email to markc@doublecork.com and you will be granted access to the Express Entry Form (and your bracket's standings page will be marked with a DartConnect insignia).

Frequently Asked Questions
about using DartConnect for PDSL:

• Does everyone in my bracket have to use it?

We highly recommend everyone use DartConnect for PDSL matches, but it is not currently required and you can have a mix of some people using it and some people using the paper match reports. Bracket reps will be able to enter matches both ways.

• Can we use online play for official matches?

We are currently evaluating online play and have a beta group currently testing this.  It is likely to be impemented in some fashion going forward.  We ask that standard brackets not use this feature for league matches until we have specifically announced it is available for all.

• How do I use DartConnect for PDSL?

We are currently developing instructions and videos on how to use DartConnect for PDSL, but you can start using the software at anytime to become more familiar with how it works (it's easy but takes a little bit of use before you're completely comfortable with this new way of scoring darts).  In the "league" menu, you'll see a dedicated PDSL section which is where you can enter player info into the "Player Library".  If you have any questions, send an email to greggt@doublecork.com.

DoubleCork is currently working on future plans
using the power of the DartConnect platform, including:

Online matches for league play
and National Expansion

Cricket Singles Leagues

Statistical ranking systems

Online Tournament Play

[PDSL] PDSL Playoff Update...DartConnect, DPNY and more....

PDSL Playoffs are THIS SATURDAY, are you ready?

Several important updates are below, please read further.

SPRING 2015 SEASON!

Application Deadline: February 14, 2015 ; Season Starts March 1

Click HERE for More Information and to download application form

NEW FOR THIS YEAR!

PDSL Playoffs will feature DartConnect scoring for player stats and DCTV match broadcasts.  DartConnect is going to become a bigger part of the PDSL in the near future and we want all players to start becoming more comfortable with this technology which will provide tremendous benefits for every player and the entire league.  Stay tuned for even more announcements about PDSL & DartConnect!

Visit the DartConnect website to learn more about this new scoring technology - www.DartConnect.com

FIRST, we are asking everyone to pre-register if you have never given DartConnect your information before.  By pre-registering they can look you up, and start scoring your match immediately.  Click here to pre-register.

Why Register?

·      DC is scoring matches throughout the day and this is the easiest way to set up your match

·      Players receive a recap with stats and highlights, minutes after the match

·      Everyone is entered into the Spring Tablet Contest, which includes a one year subscription to DartConnect

Other important updates about how DartConnect will be used this Saturday:

1. Many if not all boards may be equipped with DartConnect scoring systems. When you are required to chalk you are encouraged to take a quick tutorial and score using DartConnect (it is very easy).  Chalkers and players that are not comfortable with using DartConnect may request standard manual chalking.
2. In addition to DCTV, we may be broadcasting matches over a YouTube LiveStream similar to what was done recently for the MMDL playoffs. To see an example of the high definition feed and DCTV scoreboard, click here.
3. Many matches will have the scoreboard broadcast on DCTV which can be viewed for free on any device with a web browser including a smartphone!  When matches are being played, go to tv.dartconnect.com and click on channels 4, 5 or 6 which will be dedicated to the PDSL on Saturday.  Tell your friends or anyone who can't make it to CT on Saturday and they'll be able to follow along.

PDSL playoffs will be followed by the first stop on the DPNY 2015 Tour. All PDSL players are invited to stay and participate. More details to follow.
