[PDSL] Spring 2011 Playoff Information

Please note the following information is preliminary. To make sure you receive notice of updates and other breaking news, sign up for our email list or keep checking the playoff page on our main website.

In accordance with league rules, section 9.2.2, below please read the preliminary details of this season's playoff configuration. Please make note of the several changes and updates over previous seasons. A flyer with additional details will be distributed soon.

BASIC DETAILS:

Regional Playoffs:
  • NY Brackets (Including Broome County) - June 18, 2011. See location and schedule below.
  • MA & CT Brackets - June 18, 2011 - Location and schedule TBA.
  • NC Brackets - These 2 brackets will compete in their own regional playoff for a total playoff prize fund of $150. Details coming soon...

Central Playoffs: Will be held to determine overall league champion on June 25, 2011. Location and Schedule TBA.

PRIZE FUND UPDATE:
In response to player input, playoff prize funds have shifted to the respective regional playoff events. Regional playoffs will follow the following prize structure. Regional champions will advance to the central playoffs:

Regional Playoffs:

1st Place: A & B advance to central playoffs; C: Trophy

Regional 2nd Place: A Div: $140.00; B Div: $70.00

Regional 3rd-4th Place: A Div: $70.00; B Div: $35.00

At the Central Playoffs, regional champions will face-off for the following prize money:

Champion (1st place): A Div: $560.00; B Div: $280.00

Runner-Up (2nd place): A Div: $280.00; B Div: $140.00;

NY Regional Playoff Dates & Locations:
  • "A" level 3pm @ Flannery's (Manhattan)
  • "B" level 1 pm @ McGee's (Manhattan)
  • "C" level 12pm @ Flannery's (Manhattan)
MA/CT Regional Playoff Dates & Locations:
  • June 18, 2011. Location and Schedule to follow.

NC Playoff Dates & Locations:
  • TBA

[PDSL] Announcing the PDSL 2011 Summer Season

DoubleCork, Inc. is pleased to announce the PDSL 2011 Summer Season!

This is a great opportunity for those who want to try out the PDSL's unique league format, or as a change of pace from standard team leagues.  Please forward this email to any serious dart players you know that always wanted to play long format 501 like the pros on TV.

THE BASICS:
Professional long-format darts for the serious player.
Minimum of 6 players to play
PDSL Summer Season begins: Week of June 5
No sponsor fee - Player fees $10/person
Application Deadline: May 21, 2011
